These two windows go together as a pair to relate one of the miracles performed by Jesus the Christ during His three year ministry among the people. The window to the left is given in memory of Mr. and Mrs. George W. Barton. The window caption reads “Jesus blessed and broke the loaves”. The window to the right carries the caption “and the disciples gave them to the crowd”. This panel is in memory of Mr. and Mrs. George Wait. The small boy is giving his basket to Christ, and the Disciples with an even smaller amount of food are looking on in disbelief. If you can look closely over the shoulders of Christ and the disciples you can see the heads of the crowd of people. The breaking of the loaves of bread by Christ also suggests our sacrement of Communion.15F-WINDOWS - FEEDING THE 5000 - MIRACLESx
